This website is operated by Christopher Myers, doing business as Fold & Haven ("Fold & Haven", "we", "us"). By visiting our site or purchasing something from us, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), including the policies referenced here: our Refund & Returns Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order.

1. Using our store

You must be at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence to buy from us. You agree not to use our products or site for any unlawful purpose, to transmit anything malicious, or to attempt to interfere with the site's operation. We may refuse service to anyone, for any lawful reason, at any time.

2. Products, descriptions and prices

Sizes, weights and materials on our product pages come from the manufacturer's or supplier's specifications, and we describe them as accurately as we can. Solid-wood items vary naturally in grain and tone; textiles can differ slightly in colour from photos depending on your screen. Where care instructions are not published by the supplier, we say so and offer general guidance only.

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which are shown at checkout. We may change prices, and add or discontinue products, at any time without notice. We try to keep everything accurate, but if a product is listed with an incorrect price or description we may cancel or refuse the affected order and will refund any amount already paid.

3. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when we send a shipping confirmation. We may limit or cancel quantities per person, household or order, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers, and we may ask you to verify information before accepting an order. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information, including a correct delivery address and email, so we can complete your order and contact you if needed.

Payment is taken at the time of ordering through the payment methods shown at checkout. Orders can be cancelled within the window described in our Refund & Returns Policy.

4. Shipping, delivery estimates and import charges

Our products ship directly from our fulfillment partner outside the United States. Delivery windows shown at checkout and on our site are estimates based on our fulfillment partner's typical processing and transit times; they are not guaranteed dates, and delays by carriers or customs are outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you provided, subject to the remedies in our Refund & Returns Policy for parcels that arrive damaged or do not arrive.

Import duties, customs charges or carrier clearance fees may be requested separately and are the responsibility of the recipient unless checkout explicitly states that they have been collected or are included. We cannot guarantee the amount in advance. Please contact us before ordering if you need clarification, or before paying an unexpected carrier request so we can help verify it.

5. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are handled as described in our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Reviews and other content you submit

If you send us a product review, comment or other content, you confirm it is your own honest opinion, that you have used the product, and that we may publish, edit, shorten or decline to publish it, with your first name or display name, without compensation. Do not submit anything unlawful, defamatory, infringing or containing other people's personal information. We do not publish incentivised or fabricated reviews.

7. Third-party links and tools

Our site may include links to, or tools provided by, third parties (for example payment providers or shipping carriers). We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

8. Personal information

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Fold & Haven name, wordmark, site design and original text and images are ours or used with permission, and may not be copied or used commercially without our written consent. Product photographs and demonstration videos are supplied by our manufacturers or produced for our brand; where a video is an AI-generated brand demonstration we label it as such.

10. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and our Refund & Returns Policy, our products and site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fold & Haven and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fold & Haven and its owners, employees and suppliers from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms, together with the policies referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the store and replace any prior agreements. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page with a new "last updated" date; updates apply to future purchases and do not reduce the protections offered for orders already placed.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any separate agreements under which we provide products are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
